Don Giovanni... :)

On Tuesday we went to see the opera Don Giovanni. It was 4 hours long and we saw it at the cinema, it was a live performance from the Met Opera house in New York.I found it a bit long and drawn out however this was my first ever opera so I have nothing to compare it to. I admit the actors/singers were incredible they held notes for an amazing amount of time and I admire them for that. The story was about Don Giovanni an Italian "lady's man" and the story of how he left a trail of women after him. In the end he was taken to hell by a the father of a women that he left. Very dramatic!!!

I love that song... :) I'm so excited for our school musical! I am playing clarinet in the orchestra and I'm constantly practising for the big night. I hope everything goes well  as there will be a huge crowd. The actors and singers are really impressive, it looks so professional. Everyone in my class has something to do whether its make-up, hair, costumes, set, props etc. Its going to be great!!!
