Every summer we go to the river to learn how to swim in cold conditions. Its really challenging to swim in such cold water but a wetsuit helps. Every year we go to Limerick for water safety competitions where we throw ropes and race against other clubs. Its so much fun.
I would recommend all people interested in meeting other people, learning life skills and having a qualification to join your nearest Water Safety Club!
